'Allo. Here's an update on the situation:
My friend has lent me a very small monitor until I can afford a new one (which is gonna be massive, so it'll take a while to save up

)
Now, this would normally mean that I could make emotes again. HOWEVER. Because of the radical change in screen resolutions and aspect ratios (down from 1440x900 to 1366x768), my preferred image editor, Gimp, will now not work properly in single-window mode. I have no explanation as to why, but the program won't show me the toolbox in single window mode, and the other mode that's not single window mode is far too cramped and cluttered, making emoting extremely inefficient.

So, don't expect to see any emotes from me until at least after Christmas. Not that I've made many lately anyway

Oh, and one last thing: Feel free to comment, but I have no idea how to reply to each of the

-related comments already here. I appreciate them, and I'm reading/viewing them all, but it's unlikely I'll reply because I don't want to reply to every comment with the same thing. I'm not a communist I swear! :noes;
Original text follows. ---------------
Well hello there!
I can barely read what I'm writing. Know why? Because my monitor is bust, and the only viable spare that I have is a god-awful television. 8C
I'm sure I've written about this beastie before. Basically, the contrast is terrible, its angle is unalterable and therefore a physical pain to deal with. It's giving me eye strain just writing this!
And this may seem like a cop-out, but due to this, a lack of motivation and an abundance of college work to do, I won't be able to make much more for NaNoEmo.

Sorry.
There are a load of emoticonists whose pieces you can enjoy! I'd feature some, but this telly is so awful that I can't even see emotes properly.
Or text, for that matter.
Urgh. I'll wrap this one up before my brain suffers.
